Manufactured from perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) materials, Kalrez O-rings offer outstanding resistance to aggressive chemicals, extreme temperatures, and long-term compression set.
High Performance Perfluoroelastomer Parts
M&P Sealing is an authorized distributor of Kalrez® products. It is a perfluoroelastomer that combines the elastic properties of fluorocarbon (FKM) with the outstanding chemical resistance and the high-temperature stability of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Kalrez®seals can be used for applications in high-temperature service up to approximately +316°C (600°F) and in intermittent service up to +343°C (650°F). Kalrez® O-Rings are available in inch and metric dimensions to ISO 3601, AS 568 A, BS 1806, and BS 4518, cords, foils, molded slabs, and custom molded parts.
Kalrez® parts last longer and seal more effectively than other elastomers in demanding processing environments. DuPont™ Kalrez® perfluoroelastomer parts (FFKM) resist over 1,800 different chemicals, while offering the high-temperature stability of PTFE (327°C).
They’re used in highly aggressive chemical processing, semiconductor wafer fabrication, pharmaceutical, oil and gas recovery, and aerospace applications. The long-term, proven performance of Kalrez® parts can mean less frequent seal changes, repairs, and inspections, increasing process and equipment uptime for greater productivity and yield.
