What Is FFKM (Perfluoroelastomer)?

FFKM, or perfluoroelastomer, is a premium elastomer material designed to combine the flexibility of rubber with chemical resistance approaching that of PTFE. FFKM materials are used in applications where conventional elastomers such as FKM (Viton®), EPDM, Nitrile, Silicone, or Neoprene cannot provide sufficient chemical compatibility, temperature resistance, or service life.
