Typical Properties of Style 80 Durometer Commercial Grade Silicone

Description: 80 durometer commercial grade silicone, which is designed for use in gasket applications that do not require demanding physical properties, but where higher temperature resistance is required. 80 durometer commercial grade silicone has a service temperature of -80°F to +450°F, with the ability to handle +500°F on an intermittent basis. As a non-toxic and chemically inert material, 80 durometer commercial grade silicone offers excellent ozone and UV resistance.

M&P Sealing’s commercial grade silicone gasket material is available in a wide range of durometers, ranging from 80 durometer, to as soft as 30 Durometer, with other durometers available in between. 80 durometer commercial grade silicone is supplied red in color and can be slit into rolls ranging from as narrow as 1/4″ wide, to a maximum width of 36”. M&P Sealing has the ability to provide 80 durometer commercial grade silicone without adhesive or with either our standard acrylic adhesive or our high-temperature acrylic adhesive. 80 durometer commercial grade silicone can be manufactured in thicknesses ranging from as thin as .016″ to as thick as 1″. M&P Sealing has the ability to fabricate 80 durometer silicone by die-cutting or waterjet cutting to meet your requirements from the design stage through the production phase.
