Typical Properties of 50 Durometer White FDA Grade Silicone
Description: 50 durometer FDA grade silicone gasket material, which is designed for use in gasket applications where food may be present. 50 durometer FDA grade silicone is manufactured with FDA approved ingredients listed in CFR 117.2600, an FDA regulation which involves rubber articles intended for repeated use in contact with food. 50 durometer FDA grade silicone has a service temperature of -80°F to +450°F, with the ability to withstand +500°F on an intermittent basis. The material takes a low compression set and offers excellent UV and ozone resistance. 50 durometer FDA grade silicone is a non-toxic and chemically inert silicone material, which is low volatile, peroxide free, and does not discolor over time. 50 durometer FDA grade silicone is manufactured to meet ASTM D2000 specifications.
M&P Sealing’s FDA grade silicone gasket material is available in a wide range of durometers, ranging from as soft as 30 Durometer to as hard as 70 Durometer with standard durometers in between. 50 durometer FDA grade silicone is manufactured white in color. 50 durometer FDA grade silicone can be supplied in rolls ranging from as narrow as 1/4″ wide, up to 36″ in width. M&P Sealing can produce 50 durometer FDA grade silicone without adhesive or choose from either our standard acrylic adhesive or our high-temperature acrylic adhesive. 50 durometer FDA grade silicone can be manufactured to standard and custom thicknesses. M&P Sealing has the ability to die-cut or waterjet cut 50 durometer commercial grade silicone to meet your exact requirements.
