Typical Properties of 80 Durometer Mid-Grade Nitrile
Description: 80 durometer mid-grade nitrile gasket material designed for gasketing applications that require a solid rubber material that provides oil and solvent resistance. Also known as Buna-N, Style 80 durometer mid-grade nitrile provides users with a service temperature range of -30°F to +200°F. 80 durometer mid-grade nitrile is manufactured for applications that do not require the higher percentage of nitrile that our high grade nitrile offers.
M&P Sealing’s mid-grade nitrile is available in a wide range of durometers, ranging from as soft as 40 Durometer to as hard as 80 Durometer with standard durometers in between. 80 durometer mid-grade nitrile is available in the color black and can be manufactured in a wide range of standard thicknesses, ranging from as thin a 1/32″ to as thick as 1/4″, with custom thicknesses available upon request. 80 durometer mid-grade nitrile has a smooth finish and can be converted into rolls ranging from as narrow as 1/4 wide up to 48″ in width. Custom widths can be manufactured upon request. M&P Sealing has the ability to fabricate 80 durometer mid-grade nitrile by die-cutting or waterjet cutting and can provide technical assistance from the design stage through the production phase.
