Description: 80 durometer FDA grade nitrile gasket material used primarily in both food and pharmaceutical environments. 80 durometer FDA grade nitrile is formulated with FDA approved ingredients per 21 CFR 177.2600 and meets the ASTM D 2000 M1BG 803 Z1 Z2 specification. 80 durometer FDA grade nitrile exhibits good abrasion resistance and handles both oily and greasy food products. 80 durometer FDA grade nitrile has a service temperature of -30°F to +220°F and is a non-toxic, non-marking, and non-allergenic material.
M&P Sealing’s FDA grade nitrile is available in a wide range of durometers, ranging from as soft as 45 Durometer to as hard as 80 Durometer with standard durometers in between. 80 durometer FDA grade nitrile is available in the color white and can be manufactured in a wide range of standard thicknesses, ranging from as thin a 1/32″ to as thick as 1/4″, with custom thicknesses available upon request. 80 durometer FDA grade nitrile has a smooth finish and can be converted into rolls ranging from as narrow as 1/4 wide up to 48″ in width. Additional widths are available upon request. Atlantic Gasket has the ability to fabricate 80 durometer FDA grade nitrile by die-cutting or waterjet cutting and can provide technical assistance from the design stage through the production phase.
